About The Chicago Autism Project

Our Mission

The Chicago Autism Project is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization dedicated to helping children and families impacted by autism. We were founded by a team of pediatric therapists who identified a need for more resources for families of children with autism. Our mission is to positively impact the community through a wide range of programs, including connecting families with therapy services, offering grants and scholarships, coordinating diagnostic evaluations, hosting events for families, and providing resources on autism and developmental delays.

Some of the programs we offer include:

Scholarships and GrantsOur program offers support for life-changing therapeutic services, such as speech therapy, ABA therapy, through grant and scholarship programs.

Diagnostic Evaluations It is not uncommon for families to be placed on waitlists for diagnostic evaluations that are several months long. We partner with clinicians to help families receive diagnostic evaluations sooner.

Community EventsWe host events to give families an opportunity to connect with other families and professionals in the field. We also host educational events and parent trainings.

Therapeutic ServicesWe work to increase access to high-quality therapy services for children with autism. We partner with providers in the community that offer a range of therapeutic services specializing in services for children with autism.

Education for Therapists – We also believe in the value of education for professionals who work with children with autism. Our program partners with therapy providers to provide world-class training and mentorship for clinicians.
